Recently, while staying at a Doubletree Hotel, I had the wonderful opportunity to see an HBO film about autism, entitled Temple Grandin.
The film, a true story, details the life of the titular Temple Grandin, a brilliant young woman with autism who is able to relate to animals, in a sense, better than people. While working on a farm, she devises a method to greatly improve conditions for cattle destined for the slaughterhouse.
