Objection, Your Honor! Relevance? (A Reflection on the Blog and Social Media)

As you can see by the picture above, there are some out there who are cynical about blogging in general. While I’m not necessarily one of these people, I do see their point in some instances.

What’s a Hoot? HootSuite, of Course!

Back in June, we signed up for HootSuite, another great social networking tool that I feel we haven’t used to its greatest potential.

If you’re unfamiliar, allow me to explain: HootSuite gives you the opportunity to integrate all of your various social networks (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, etc.), and check out RSS feeds from your friends on each. Feature: What Does the Phrase “Spin Sucks” Mean?

In recent months, I have continuously referred to one of my favorite blogs, The Fight Against Destructive Spin, a.k.a. “Spin Sucks,” for inspiration, as well as help in getting our name out there. Continue reading

Disability: A Blessing in Disguise?

While Georgia Community Support and Solutions is not a religiously-affiliated organization, and I don’t want to present it as such, I thought it relevant to share a gift that was given to me by someone who visited our office today. Continue reading
